Coaches Favorite Player
Do you know who the coach’s “favorites” are? They are the players who try and get better each practice. They set the tone for the team with their work ethic. They are the ones who shag (pick-up) balls quicker than anyone else. They are the ones who constantly run during practice. They are the ones that look the coach directly in the eye when taking instruction. They are the ones who have excellent listening skills. They try their best to change and do what the coach is asking of them–the ability to change is one of the most important skills in volleyball. Pat Powers
